Membership List

The Rotary Club of Savannah South welcomes you to its official website.  We want to keep you up-to-date on our activities as part of the greatest philanthropic organization in the history of mankind - Rotary International.

We meet each Tuesday at 12:30 pm in the Banquet Hall of Carey Hilliard's Restaurant at 11111 Abercorn Street in Savannah, GA.  In addition to a nice meal and great fellowship, we have interesting and entertaining programs.  But, our primary goal is to contribute to the enhancement of the lives of people in our community and throughout the world.

Membership in Rotary is open to individuals who are professionally employed or who serve in voluntary positions in our community.  If you would like to attend one of our meetings to learn more about our organization, please contact a member of our club for an invitation.

Need a Make-up?
You can do a make-up on line. Visit www.rotaryeclubone.org. This is a valid make up sanctioned by Rotary International and the Standard Club Constitution does not restrict how many times this form of make up can be used annually.

From the earliest days of the organization, Rotarians were concerned with promoting high ethical standards in their professional lives. One of the world's most widely printed and quoted statements of business ethics is The 4-Way Test, which was created in 1932 by Rotarian Herbert J. Taylor (who later served as RI president) when he was asked to take charge of a company that was facing bankruptcy. This 24-word test for employees to follow in their business and professional lives became the guide for sales, production, advertising, and all relations with dealers and customers, and the survival of the company is credited to this simple philosophy. Adopted by Rotary in 1943, The 4-Way Test has been translated into more than a hundred languages and published in thousands of ways. It asks the following four questions:

The 4-Way Test
Of the things we think, say or do:

1. Is it the TRUTH?
2. Is it FAIR to all concerned?
3. Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS?
4. Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?
