Rotary clock in Savannah City Market
Six Rotary clubs of Savannah have combined to present to the city of Savannah a 15 foot tall clock commemorating the centennial of the founding of Rotary International. The clock is located in Savannah City Market and was dedicated December 19, 2005. The clock was built by the “Fancy Street Clock & Light Company” of Rock Island, Illinois and installed by the DePue Monument Company. It is securely mounted and able to withstand 140 mph winds. The two-sided clock will chime on the hour and every quarter hour.
